Exercise No. 14: Planned Order Conversion

Transfer the following verbal description into an EPC

a) A planned order is either created automatically or manually. A combination of automatic and manual creation is also likely. Once this is achieved, the manufacturing department determines the planned order type.

b) This process is triggered once the conversion date is reached.

c) Once the planned order is selected, the manufacturing department specifies the planned order position.

d) Depending on the product category (in-house production / external procurement), the planned order is either to be converted into a production order, a purchase requisition or a process order.

e) For a conversion into a production order, the manufacturing department needs to specify the production order type so that the conversion to a production order may be started.

f) For a conversion into a purchase requisition, the purchasing department needs to specify the procurement type so that the conversion to a purchase requisition may be started.

g) For a conversion into a production order, the manufacturing department needs to specify the process order type so that the conversion to a process order may be started.
