Vienna Spring Programs

Vienna Spring Programs combine academic and social experiences for undergraduate and graduate students from WU and partner universities. Held in May and lasting two weeks, the programs combine intensive, practice-oriented courses with opportunities to experience Vienna. Students deepen their subject knowledge, collaborate on real-life projects in multicultural teams, and participate in a variety of social and cultural activities.

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • Program dates: May 10 - May 21, 2027

  • Nomination deadline for partner universities: February 28, 2027 (please note that nomination is mandatory)

  • Application deadline for international students: TBA

Program Structure

  • Courses - undergraduate level: students can choose between two tracks: 'Marketing for a Better World' & 'Sports and International Business' (see here for more information)

  • Courses - graduate level: Vienna Innovation Program (see here for more information)

  • Workload: 6 ECTS credits for the undergraduate courses and 5 ECTS credits for the graduate program

  • Participants: Open to undergraduate and graduate students from all WU partner universities. 

  • Teaching approach: Interactive and practice-oriented classes that combine academic perspectives with real-world business insights.

  • Social and cultural program: A diverse range of social and cultural activities complements the academic program and gives participants the opportunity to experience Vienna while building an international network.
