Andrzej Stasio, PhD
Andrzej Stasio holds Master’s degrees in both Fiscal Economics (MSc) and International & European Tax Law (LL.M.), and successfully completed the Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT) in June 2019. His research analysed different channels of spillovers from one jurisdiction’s tax rules and practices on other countries, including the effects of tax treaties on foreign direct investment (FDI); spillovers in tax treaty bargaining; and tax-motivated spatial interdependence in bilateral FDI. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Bern World Trade Institute and the University of Michigan Office of Tax Policy Research. Andrzej continued his research with the WU, Vienna University of Economics and Business until February 2020, and since March 2020 has been working as an economic analyst for the European Commission.
