Francesco Procopio, M.Sc.

Francesco Procopio is an Italian tax professional with an academic background in economics and finance. He will join the WU Institute as a DIBT student in September 2026. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Bocconi University, where he graduated with honours. During his studies, he broadened his international outlook through exchange programs at leading institutions in China and Canada.
His professional experience lies in the field of international taxation and transfer pricing, developed through positions at EY, PwC, and Arendt & Medernach. In these roles, he has advised multinational enterprises on complex cross-border structures, financial transactions, and transfer pricing matters, with a particular focus on compliance with OECD standards and evolving regulatory frameworks. Alongside his professional activity, Francesco has been involved in academic and research-oriented initiatives, contributing to publications and collaborating with the SDA Bocconi School of Management. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Italy.
His research interests focus on international taxation and transfer pricing, particularly in relation to financial transactions, regulatory developments, and the interaction between tax policy and multinational business strategies.
