Ana Cecić

Ana comes from Croatia but is currently pursuing her master’s degree in International Business Taxation from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. During her bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, she discovered her passion for interdisciplinary study of business and law, leading her to discover taxation in the international context. Her exchange experience in Exeter, United Kingdom, has further strengthened her interest in business taxation. At the moment, she is working as a research assistant at the Fiscal Institute of Tilburg, contributing to research in the field of transfer pricing, and more specifically, the application of the arm's length principle in European and domestic law. Inspired by professors in different disciplines with whom she had worked closely on various projects, she was motivated and inspired to kick off her career in academia. She is honoured and excited to join the DIBT program in September 2026 and contribute to the research of the WU Institute. Outside of academia, Ana finds balance through running, trying new cuisines, cooking, and exploring new cities and cultures. She values the perspective that travel and new experiences bring, and also cherishes time spent with friends and family.
