Which personal data do we process?
We will only process personal data that you have given us as part of the survey. In particular, we will process the following data:

• Current country residing

• Your internet connection at home

• Your satisfaction with the distance learning so far

For what purpose do we process your data?
The WU, Department of Informations Systems and Operations, Institute for Production Management and Department of Global Business and Trade, Institute for Transport and Logistics Management conducts a research on where students of the master’s program Supply Chain Management are residing during the corona virus crisis. Solely to know what additional problems can arouse once the teaching can get back to presence learning. In addition, we want to know how good the internet connections of the students are to react in case needed. Furthermore, we would like to know how satisfied you are with the so far held distance learning lectures.

The data will be processed in anonymous form by the program management, there will be no individual-related data processing. and we will not make the raw data available to third parties outside.

Legal basis for data processing?
You are under no obligation to participate in the online survey. The disclosure of your data is voluntary. The processing of your data is carried out for the above-mentioned purpose on the basis of the consent given by you by completing and submitting the online survey [Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR].

The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future and without any adverse consequences for you by contacting us via scm-master@wu.ac.at or via WU, Institute for Production Management, building D2, Welthandelsplatz 1, 1020 Vienna.

Do we carry out an automated decision-making (including profiling)?
There is no automated decision-making in the course of processing personal data.

Are you obliged to provide the data?
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. There is no obligation to disclose. In case that you do not want to disclose your personal data, they will not be collected and will, therefore, not be taken into account or stored.

With whom do we share your data?
The data will not be shared with any third parties.

What rights do you have?
Generally, you have a right to request from WU access to and rectification or erasure of your data or restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.
