Bachelor double degree programs

Double degree programs offer you the unique opportunity to earn two degrees simultaneously – one from WU Vienna and one from your home university, i.e. Queensland University of Technology, Queen’s University (Smith School of Business), or Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Católica Porto Business School). These double degree programs are designed to enhance your global mindset, expand your academic experience, and boost your career prospects.

Key facts

  • Two academic degrees: Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded two academic degrees – one from WU Vienna and one from your home university.

  • Tuition fee waiver: You are not subject to tuition fees at WU Vienna for the duration of your studies. You do, however, have to pay the Students’ Union dues of around €25 per semester.

  • Choice of specializations and free electives at WU Vienna: You have a choice of various specializations and electives in English, which give you a highly personalized study experience at WU Vienna.

  • Networking and personal development: As a double degree student, you will be part of the regular academic life at WU Vienna, which means more networking opportunities and more possibilities of developing personal skills such as independence and self-reliance.

Currently, the following students can do double degree programs at WU Vienna:

Students from Queensland University of Technology (QUT)

Students from Queen’s University, Smith School of Business (Queen’s)

Students from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Católica Porto Business School (CPBS)

Application

If you are a student at QUT, CPBS, or Queen’s and interested in the program at WU Vienna, you can apply for a double degree spot at your home university. For more information on any additional requirements and application procedures, please contact the International Office at your home institution.

Credit transfer

After the successful completion of your classes at the partner university (see study plan), please make sure that your transcript is sent to your coordinator at WU Vienna’s International Office. They will arrange for your grade to be transferred. You will receive a final grade based on your grade average (weighted according to your credits).
