Application requirements for all on-campus and on-line undergraduate programs are current enrollment in an undergraduate study program in business administration or related fields. By the time of participation in the ISU^WU program, students must have completed a minimum of one year of undergraduate education with a specific focus on business administration and related areas.

Applicants interested in participating in the International Summer University^WU need an excellent command of the English language. The English language requirements can be found at ISU^WU Language Requirements.

Application requirements for all on-campus and on-line graduate programs are current enrollment in a Master's or MBA program (or equivalent), with a focus on business administration/economics, and / or a Bachelor's degree in a business major by the time of participation in the ISU^WU program. Recently graduated students are also welcome in the program.

1. Read the application instructions below and gather the supporting documents (for a complete list of documents please see the application documents section below). We strongly advise students to gather all necessary documents before submitting the application form.

2. Read the Guidelines and Data Protection for the International Summer University^WU.

3. Access our application system, fill in and submit the application form (first part of the application) by April 7, 12 noon (vienna time). (Please note: The link to the application system will be active from February 15, 2 p.m.) Students can fill in a maximum of two preferences, choosing between all on-campus and on-line summer program offers.

4. Upload all required supporting documents (second part of the online application) and press submit to complete the application process.

5. Students will be informed about the outcome of their application via email by April 30.

 

• Confirmation of receipt: All students who complete the online application process on time, will receive an automated email confirming that their full application has been received by the responsible WU coordinator.

• Admission decision: All applicants who complete the online application process on time will be informed about the outcome of their application via email by April 30. The official acceptance letter will include further instructions on the program and course allocations as well as on the payment process. The applicant's spot on the set ISU^WU program is only guaranteed once we receive the payment. As soon as the payment reaches the ISU^WU account, accepted applicants will receive a letter of confirmation.

• Allocation of program and courses: During the online application process, students are asked to rank the available courses according to their preferences. Please note that there is no guarantee getting a spot that corresponds to the first preference. We try our best though to accommodate students' preferences, but due to the limited number of spots this is not always possible.

• Information package prior to arrival: In May all accepted students will receive a so-called ISU^WU program guide with useful information and details about the summer program students get accepted for. The participants will also be informed about required assignments for before and during the program or course.

Mandatory upload:

• Résumé/CV

• One-page letter of motivation, where the applicant tells us why he/she wants to participate this summer.

• Grade transcripts from the applicant's home university and a confirmation indicating the beginning and the expected end of the studies.

• Official proof of English proficiency: Applicants whose native language is not English and those who are not enrolled in an English-language program must submit a copy of one of the required English language certificates.

• A copy of the passport (main pages)

• One passport-sized photo: not older than one year.

• To apply for a WU scholarship, please also attach an appropriate letter.

• Any additional documents of use and relevance can also be uploaded.
