Nadine Schröder participated in a workshop on sample selection models

End of June, Nadine Schröder attended a workshop at Bayes Business School in London to share insights on sample selection bias in product ratings. Generally, only a particular subgroup of customers rate a product or service on online platforms. As a result, not accounting for this sample selection may result in wrong implications. The presented study, which is joint work with Giampiero Marra, Rosalba Radice, and Thomas Reutterer, shows how to model ratings in these particular settings.
