NGO Academy Online Keynote with Professor Alnoor Ebrahim

Is there a dark side to accountability? Can metrics of social impact sometimes do more harm than good? In this NGO Academy keynote, Alnoor Ebrahim explores the ambiguous role of social impact metrics and the conditions under which they help or harm organizations in delivering on their missions. He will discuss a framework for measuring social change that goes beyond the current obsession with outcomes, and looks towards more strategic forms of measurement and accountability. Florian Bauer (ERSTE Foundation) will open the event with a welcome statement and Professor Michael Meyer (WU Vienna) will guide us through the evening.

Registration is necessary and free of charge.

NGO Academy is a capacity building program for NGOs and social enterprises in Central- and Southeastern Europe, which the Social Entrepreneurship Center has been implementing in cooperation with the ERSTE Foundation since 2014.
