International Office
Tasks
Internationalization is one of WU's main strategic priorities. A large number of WU students gains international academic experience at one of WU's 240 partner universities or at an International Summer University.
The International Office reports to the Vice-Rector for Acadmic Programs and Student Affairs and is WU's central service unit for the coordination of international partnerships, networks, and programs.
Student Mobility
About 1.000 WU outgoing students go on exchange every year and an approximately equal number of incoming international students are welcomed at WU every year. The International Office is the central contact point for these students, offering advice and administrative assistance before, during and after their mobility.
Staff and Faculty Mobility
WU faculty members and staff can participate in exchange programs like ERASMUS+ or CEEPUS.
International University Networks and Programs
WU gives its faculty and students access to a network of about 240 partner universities worldwide. The International Office is responsible for developing and supervising WU's these international partnerships.
WU is member of the following associations: CEMS, PIM, GBSN, THEMIS, NEURUS.
WU and its members are active participants in the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union (WU Erasmus Policy Statement & Erasmus Charter).
