AI in teaching

The rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence present universities with a number of challenges. On these pages, the Task Force AI in Teaching collects and regularly updates information on AI aspects relevant to WU teaching.

This includes, in particular, a growing number of tested AI tools that are suitable for teaching and learning support. In line with the dynamic nature of the topic, WU focuses in particular on exchange formats between teachers and Professional Services. You can find the current offers below.

Seamless Learning Conference 2024 - AI as a Co-Teacher?

The Seamless Learning Conference 2024 will explore the rise of AI in higher education, with a specific focus on how AI enables and/or limits learning and teaching effectiveness.

Put as a simple question: Are AI applications already suitable as co-teachers or co-mentors for students and how is “AI-enhanced” teaching and learning really adding value? To what degree is this supporting a “seamless” learning experience? Ethical and legal challenges will be as much tackled as pedagogical innovations and didactic tweaks.
