The bachelor’s program at a glance

After gaining solid foundations in business and economics, including social and legal perspectives, you will apply them to practice in various projects. A broad variety of specializations and free electives will open up a wealth of exciting opportunities. Create your own profile by customizing your program to reflect your own interests.

From day one, you will be working closely together with your peers in an interactive setting. Group projects, discussions, and presentations will strengthen your interpersonal and communication skills.

Many of our students also spend a semester abroad to to broaden their horizons. Selected students also have the opportunity to add a year in Australia to their bachelor’s program and earn a double degree from the Queensland University of Technology.

In the first year, the bachelor’s degree program includes what we call the Introductory and Orientation Phase, followed by the Core Courses.

Starting in your third semester, you get to deepen your knowledge and develop your individual interests through a wide range of Specializations and Electives.

 

Introductory and Orientation phase 

The Introductory and Orientation Phase provides you with the foundations you need for your studies in business and economics. In courses worth a total of 12 ECTS, you will gain an initial understanding of key concepts and perspectives and develop the skills needed for your further studies.

 

Core Courses

In the Core Courses, you will build a broad and solid foundation in business and economics. In courses worth a total of 93 ECTS, you will explore essential areas of business, economics, quantitative methods, and their broader contexts, while developing analytical and methodological skills.

 

Specializations and Electives

Starting in your third semester, you can tailor your studies to your individual interests. With 65 ECTS dedicated to specializations and electives, you can deepen your knowledge in selected areas and create your own academic profile. A further 10 ECTS are dedicated to your Bachelor’s Thesis, where you can apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout your studies.
