About the event

Excellent teaching requires not only expertise in the subject matter but also creativity, dedication, and a significant commitment of time. Often, the effort and artistry behind innovative teaching remain unseen.

With the event format “The Art of Teaching,” we aim to highlight this exceptional achievement at WU. We will showcase selected teaching projects and designs from various departments in an exhibition at the LC Forum. This will be followed by the 2026 WU Teaching Award ceremony.

New this year!

We have invited this years awardees to articulate their motivation and vision for teaching. Two artists will interpret these ideas and express them through sculptures and paintings created specifically for this event.
