Who Are We?

WU Marketing Master Association (WUMA) is the official student and alumni association of the MSc Marketing program. WUMA brings together MSc Marketing students and alumni at WU, creating a strong network, lifelong friendships, and opportunities to grow. The three pillars of WUMA:

1. Events: The Events department organizes social, cultural, and networking activities. From trips to casual meetups, we bring students together beyond the classroom.

2. Partners: The Partners department connects students with companies and agencies. We create opportunities through guest lectures, workshops, and career networking events.

3. Communications: The Communications department manages WUMA’s messaging. We run social media and design efforts to keep students engaged and our brand strong and consistent.

 

What Do We Do?

We build a vibrant community, organise impactful events, and represent student interests within the university and the wider marketing industry.

• Social Events: Organizing informal events like class trips, sports days, cultural nights, or after-hours drinks to build community and create memories

• Partners Events: Connecting students with companies through networking events, alumni talks, and company workshops

• Alumni Network: Maintaining a growing network of alumni to foster long-term connections beyond graduation and across industries

• Student Support: Representing the MSc Marketing cohort and acting as a link between students, faculty, and the university
