Deadline for FIDES-entries for the year 2020

As usual for this time of the year, I'd like to draw your attention to updating your FIDES-accounts. This year's deadline for several internal queries will be January 11, 2021. Please update your FIDES-entries in time!

Short info: Articles in press

This is a reminder that articles "in press" cannot be entered in FIDES. Please enter only articles that are already published! An article can be viewed as being published if there is a valid DOI link available. In case you have published in a journal that does not provide DOIs, please use "n.a." for non-applicable in the DOI field.

The Research Service Center screens new entries in FIDES on a regular basis and might delete publications if they are still in press and/or do not show a valid DOI.

Articles in press significantly affect the quality of our publication data (e.g. for the annual "Wissensbilanz").

Short info: Citations

When entering a new publication in FIDES, please focus on entering all publication details, such as authors, title, page numbers etc. in the same way they appear on the publication! Once more, this highly affects WU’s publication data quality.

Please make sure that the order in which authors appear on the paper is the same as in FIDES especially. Do not hesitate to contact the FIDES-team in case you have any questions (fides-support@wu.ac.at, ext. 5107, 6488). We will be happy to help you entering your publication correctly.

New: E-mail address for FIDES-questions

At the Research Service Center, the FIDES-team consisting of Daniela Weismeier-Sammer and Johanna Mendes can be contacted regarding FIDES via fides-support@wu.ac.at.

We would like to ask you to inform us about malfunctions or other problems and questions regarding FIDES. If possible, please send us a screenshot.
