Lecture exams (LVPs)

A course-type course examination (LVP) is a final examination for certain courses. A single exam is used to determine whether you have understood the course material and acquired the necessary skills.

  • No attendance requirement: Attendance of the course is not mandatory. Exam registration is mandatory, even if you have not attended the course.

  • LVPs take place three times per semester within the exam week. (see schedule)

  •  Only one registration is possible in the regular semester (except for the study acceleration program).
Please note: Registration for the summer university or winter university counts as an anticipation of the first half semester.

  • Voluntary bonus points can be collected in the courses (see syllabus). These bonus points are valid for the next four exam weeks after completion of the course.
