Dear students,

To make it easier for you to submit your recognition applications, we are currently introducing a new electronic tool.

From now on, you can submit your applications completely paperless. For exams taken at the institutions listed below, the tool is already available in Online Student Service - OSS:
  • Austrian universities (except WU)
  • Universities of Applied Sciences, private universities, etc. in Austria
  • WU partner universities / WU mobility programs
You can find the link in your Online Student Service - OSS under the menu section "Anerkennung & Abschluss” and then "Antrag auf Anerkennung".

Applications are only accepted on working days. If you submit your application on a weekend or public holiday, it will count as submitted on the next working day. The decision period starts from that day.

A recognition decision becomes legally effective if it is not appealed. Once effective, it is final, irrevocable, and enforceable. Recognition, once granted, cannot be reversed or annulled.
