Exam platform
Digital campus examinations are conducted via the ‘MyLEARN’ exam platform.
How do I enter the exam environment?
Launch the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Safari is NOT compatible.
Log in to the exam environment at learn.wu.ac.at with your WU account login data (h+matriculation number and your password).
Locate the main window "Memberships" on the dashboard
Navigate to the desired exam environment via Memberships > My digital exams.
Activate the online exam proctoring if required.
Follow the steps indicated to activate online exam supervision.

Be sure to use the Multimedia Test browser to set up your device correctly for the requirements of the exam environment and online exam proctoring.

How can I start the exam?
Enter the exam environment and stay on the start page.
When the exam starts (time), the tab "Digital exams" appears in the left side menu (possibly refresh - F5).
You will find the link to the exam under the tab "Digital exams" heading.
Click on the exam link and start the exam.
Attention: Open the left side menu if you have closed it.

How do I navigate in the exam?
Within the exam, you can use Previous and Next to jump between questions or use the numbers to navigate to a specific question.
Attention: Pay attention to the exam modalities - there are exams in which free navigation is not released and back navigation is not possible. This decision is made by those responsible for the exam.

How can I save my answers?
Click on Save answer at the bottom left to save your answer. If you switch to another question, your answers will also be saved automatically.

How can I submit the exam?
Click on Submit exam to submit the exam. If the exam is submitted after the time has elapsed, the last saved status will be counted as the submission.

Troubleshooting
I cannot enter the exam environment with my device?
If you cannot enter the test environment with your device, you must change the privacy settings. Carry out the actions shown to change the privacy settings.
Note: For iOS operating systems, you must restart the device after changing the privacy settings!
I am constantly being kicked out of the exam environment!
If you are constantly being kicked out of the exam environment, desktop recording has been interrupted. The most common causes of desktop recording interruptions are
the miniature desktop screen has been closed – Do not close the miniature desktop screen!
the device is not connected to a power source and has switched to energy-saving mode. – Connect your device to a power source.
the tab with the exam environment has been minimised – Do not minimise the tab.
Note: Do not close the miniature desktop screen for the entire duration of the exam.
I can't find the exam!
If you cannot find the exam, this may be due to the following reasons:
You are in the wrong exam environment - Make sure you are in the correct exam environment!
The exam has not yet been loaded in the exam environment. - Reload the page! (F5)
The left side menu is closed - Open the left side menu and navigate to the start page of the exam environment! The exam is located under the "Digital exams" tab.
I can't open the exam!
If you cannot open the exam, this may have the following causes:
Make sure you are using either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Make sure you are not using a tablet or smartphone.
Close all other browser windows or other browsers in which MyLEARN may is open.
Make sure you are using the correct Wi-Fi. Your exam may only be accessible via the WU_Exam_WLAN.
