Status and Perspectives

The CEE CercleWU at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Headquarters Austria and ABA – Invest in Austria cordially invite you to the panel discussion “Vienna’s Role as a Regional Hub – Status and Future Perspectives” on November 24 at the Campus WU.

In this discussion, we would like to raise the question if Vienna can be still regarded as a regional hub for Central and Eastern Europe.

Arnold Schuh (WU) will start with a presentation of the results of a recent study on this topic in an opening address. Then panelists representing the viewpoints of different stakeholders will discuss the role of Vienna in the region and its attractiveness as a location for business and innovation:

  • Oliver Csendes, COO, Pioneers.io

  • Andreas Launer, Head, International Strategy and Coordination Office, City of Vienna

  • Peter J. Oswald, CEO, Mondi Europe & International Division

  • René Siegl, Managing Director, Austrian Business Agency

Andreas Breinbauer, HQ Austria and Rector FH BFI, will chair the discussion.

If you plan to attend please reply by November 18 to emcee@wu.ac.at
