We are pleased to announce that IFERA and the Research Institute for Family Business (WU Vienna) are organizing the 2nd IFERA Research Development Workshop in Vienna/Austria. The workshop topic “Involvement, Essence and Identity: Developing Core Constructs in Family Business Research” targets the in-depth discussion of original research papers focusing on different conceptual and empirical approaches to assessing the involvement of the family in the business, the essence of family influence and the identity of family businesses from various theoretical perspectives. Furthermore, we warmly welcome multi-disciplinary approaches to further develop the research field. The Research Development Workshop focuses not only on the development of family influence-related concepts and constructs, but also wants to give researchers the possibility to exchange new ideas and form academic alliances. Submitted papers should clearly and explicitly address the Workshop topic. The submission period starts April 14th 2014 and will last until May 16th 2014.
