Dr. Martina Friedl and Mag. Gerhild Deutinger will guide you through the peer coaching sessions of the WU Pre-Doc Placement Program.

Dr. Martina Friedl has been working independently since 2010 as a management consultant, trainer, and coach. Her consulting work focuses on strategy development, organizational design, process optimization, operational excellence, and change management for national and international corporations, universities, NGOs, and public institutions. Her coaching supports individuals and teams—especially in academic settings—on topics such as career planning, work-life balance, navigating personal crises, team dynamics, critical communication, and academic writing. Her coaching approach is goal-oriented and dialogical, using targeted questioning techniques and coaching tools to help clients gain new perspectives and develop practical solutions. 

Gerhild Deutinger has been coaching executives in top positions for many years. She is the author of the book ‘Kommunikation im Change’ (SpringerGabler 2017) and a lecturer at universities and universities of applied sciences. She works on major changes in the education and healthcare sectors, was Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of WWF for many years and on the Board of the Alumni Association of the University of Vienna.
