Strategy Implementation & Performance Management

After completing this course, students recognize that successful strategy implementation requires ensuring all employees work toward shared corporate goals. Participants learn about management control systems used by organizations to guide employee behavior toward effectively contributing to these organizational objectives. Additionally, students are able to identify, understand, and assess the interactions between control problems and organizational measures such as performance evaluation and budgeting practices. The curriculum enables students to know and apply current academic research in the fields of management control and performance management. Finally, participants solve case studies to simulate corporate control practices and adequately address practical control problems.
