Leadership in Action 1

Delivered consecutively across two semesters as "Leading Self" and "Leading Others," this module sequence helps students cultivate the essential inner capacities required to navigate growing organizational complexities. Drawing upon the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) framework, the curriculum is structured around five core dimensions of personal development: Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating, and Acting. The first part focuses on self-leadership, self-reflection, and cognitive skills to deepen awareness of self and others, create a strong sense of purpose, and establish a foundation for personal growth. Building directly on this foundation, the second part examines how individuals lead and influence within team and organizational contexts by integrating group dynamics, constructive feedback, and a practical leadership experiment. Through a blend of theoretical input and experiential learning, the courses ultimately support students in becoming conscious, confident, and adaptive leaders capable of building trust and mobilizing teams toward shared objectives.
