WU Exchange Program
The flexible structure of the master in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control invites students to study abroad during their second year. Students can spend one semester at one of WU’s partner universities around the world through WU’s Exchange program. Students, who are going abroad complete the elective courses and the personal skills courses at the partner institution.
Exclusive Exchange SIMC & OIE (CBS)
In cooperation with the MSc Organizational Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIE) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) we also offer an exclusive exchange between SIMC and OIE. During this exchange semester, SIMC students have the opportunity to attend courses that are usually not open to regular exchange students, such as business project courses that focus on further developing a startup with the help of the CSE Incubator at CBS. Hence, this program is especially recommended for entrepreneurs who already have a startup, or a well-defined idea of it. Incoming students from CBS may also attend a business project that is offered by SIMC.
Vienna Innovation Program
The Vienna Innovation ProgramWU takes place every year in May and builds on WU faculty’s expertise in Innovation Management. For two weeks a group of master's students, both from WU’s international partner institutions as well as from WU, will jointly attend this intensive short program and work together on real life group projects. For SIMC students, this program counts as an elective and students are highly encouraged to participate in order to experience internationalization at home.
The academic program will be taught by a team of WU's Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization, which is headed by Prof. Christopher Lettl. The program builds on a combination of lecture elements, case analyses, class discussions, exercises, and group work. Particular emphasis will be placed on practice-orientation and work in group projects.
An enticing social program is also available for all students. For WU students, this course is free of charge, except for diverse social activities, which are optional but highly recommended.
This program requires an application; more information can be found in the syllabus or on the website.
