Gayline received her Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi. Her undergraduate degree is in B.Ed. Arts where she studied Economics and Mathematics. She has over nine years of work experience, six of which are in Tax Policy Research, Tax Modelling, Tax Revenue Forecasting, Analysis of Revenue Statistics and Reporting drawn from the Kenya Revenue Authority. She is TADAT trained and has played a key role in supporting the budget process through estimation of the impact of tax policy measures, revenue forecasting and development of medium term revenue strategy. Prior to this, Gayline was a young professional at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis where she acquired hands on experience in research, public policy analysis, and macroeconomic modelling.
