Our exhibition “Cartoons that Mean Business” explores some of the defining issues of our time, including artificial intelligence, the future of work, inflation, and climate change, bringing economic ideas to life in surprising and thought-provoking ways.

Artificial intelligence, the rapidly changing world of work, inflation, and climate change are among the key issues shaping our economy and society today. These are also topics that are researched and taught at WU. It is therefore only fitting that WU should host an artist like Michael Pammesberger, who has been observing and commenting on these developments for decades with a sharp eye, wry humor, and incisive wit. The exhibition features a selection of cartoons that capture the essence of today’s challenges, invite reflection, and shed light on complex issues in an engaging and accessible way.
