ENGAGE.EU: Shaping the Future of Education Across Europe
ENGAGE.EU brings together the strengths and expertise of ten leading European universities in the fields of economics and social sciences. Its mission? To connect students across Europe through a wide range of international courses and initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and a sense of shared responsibility.

Studying at the ENGAGE.EU Partners
At the heart of ENGAGE.EU is a bold vision: bringing top schools together to create an inter-university “campus”. This shared academic environment will give over 135,000 students across the alliance the opportunity to deepen their international experience through high-quality learning and mobility programs. This is made possible by harmonizing services, infrastructure, and institutional strategies to ensure a seamless and enriching ENGAGE.EU experience.

From Online Exchanges to Lighthouse Initiatives
By 2027, ENGAGE.EU will have offered at least 600 courses under its label, ranging from online exchanges and signature courses on pressing societal issues to groundbreaking flagship projects. Students will also have the chance to participate in intensive summer and winter schools, where they’ll tackle major global challenges from diverse perspectives. Similarly, expedition weeks invite students to work in multicultural teams alongside partner organizations to explore the big questions of our time.

Joint Programme Global Sustainability Management: A Flagship for the Future
Launching in 2026, the new Master’s level program in Global Sustainability Management (GSM) will be a one-year specialized track that embodies ENGAGE.EU’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Built on the alliance’s collective strengths, GSM offers a unique educational experience with a strong focus on problem-based and student-centered learning.

Joint Programme in Digital Transformation: Teaching the Skills of Tomorrow
One standout initiative is the ENGAGE.EU Joint Programme in Digital Transformation. Co-developed and -delivered by faculty from all partner institutions, it equips students with cutting-edge digital skills and the ability to navigate and shape technological innovation.

Lifelong Learning for All
Beyond academics, ENGAGE.EU also supports students with career services, educational innovations, and a variety of student-led initiatives. But ENGAGE.EU isn’t just for full-time students. Professionals and lifelong learners can also benefit from the alliance’s combined expertise through hands-on, work-integrated learning opportunities offered by its prestigious universities and business schools.

Fostering International Teaching
Engaged faculty profits from the alliance’s expertise in innovative teaching and shared pedagogical resources. In addition, the Academic Initiative Incubator provides them with financial and didactic support in networking and collaborating with peers across Europe to jointly develop and introduce innovative teaching initiatives and formats.
