Responsibilities and facilities

At WU, the promotion of equality and social equal opportunities is seen as a common task of all university members and, in particular, as an obligation for persons in leading positions. Therefore, measures and activities are organized and implemented by different persons and units.

With the Equal Opportunities Committee and the Gender and Diversity Policy Office, WU also has two special institutions prescribed by the Universities Act that work with different task profiles to realize equal opportunities at WU.
