Admission Security Deposit

A security deposit in the amount of € 200 must be paid by all applicants who have been offered and wish to accept admission to an English-taught MSc program at WU.

A demand for payment will be sent together with the offer of admission. The deposit can be paid via online banking or by using a bank transfer form. The following information is required:

  • First and last name of the student (also if payment is being made by another person)

  • Program code:

    • BIZCOMM24 für the MSc in the Business Communication

    • CEMS24 for the MSc in International Management/CEMS

    • DIGIECON24 for the MSc in Digital Economy

    • ECON24 for the MSC in Economics

    • MARK24 for the MSc in Marketing

    • QFIN24 for the MSc in Quantitative Finance

    • SEEP24 for the MSc in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy

    • SIMC24 for the MSc in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control

    • SCM24 for the MSc in Supply Chain Management

To secure your place in the program, we must have received both your acceptance of the admission offer and the total amount of the security deposit within 10 days of receipt of the relevant information via email.

Payment is to be made to the university bank account indicated in the information accompanying the offer. Please note that bank charges must be borne by you. Take account of this paying the total deposit.

For the refund of the deposit you will receive the respective application form when carrying out the enrollment personally at Admissions. The entire deposit will be refunded to the bank account specified by you within this form, after you paid the tuition fees/student union dues.

Without exception, no refunds will be made to students who have accepted admission to an English-taught Master's program at WU but then do not complete the enrollment process.
