Nils Wlömert successfully defended his Habilitation in Business Administration
This week, Nils Wlömert successfully defended his habilitation thesis with the title "Getting the Mix Right: Business Model Configuration and Cross-Channel Effects of On-Demand Music Streaming Services" at WU Wien. He received the 'venia docendi' in Business Administration after summarizing the findings from his research in a talk on “The emergence of streaming services in the music industry – good or evil?” as part of his habilitation colloquium on November 3, 2020. In his research, he analyzes how technological innovations impact consumer and firm behavior on media markets and how the emergence of new business models impacts these markets.
Nils is currently Assistant Professor at the Institute for Interactive Marketing & Social Media at WU Wien and will start his new job as a Professor for Retailing and Data Science at WU Wien in January 2021.
