Funding provisions for the academic year 2025/26

Based on the budget allocated to WU Vienna for the academic year 2025/2026, the following funding provisions will apply:

  • Double degree students (execpt for EPOG+) will receive an Erasmus+ grant for a period of max. six months.

  • EPOG+ and all other students will receive an Erasmus+ grant for a period of max. four months.

Prerequisites & requirements

  • Physical presence at the host institution is mandatory

  • Minimum duration: Two full months (60 days)

  • Minimum academic achievement: To avoid paying back the Erasmus+ grant, you must transfer at least 3 ECTS credits per month spent abroad towards your WU study program. For example, if you spend four months abroad, you will need to transfer at least 12 ECTS credits as a curriculum-specific module at WU Vienna.

  • Thesis work: If you will be working on your bachelor's or master's thesis, a confirmation from your WU supervisor is required. Please contact us for more information.
