Please include copies of the following documents and present the originals when submitting your application:

• Certificate(s) of the successful completion of the examination(s)

• Course syllabus in German or English (internet printout with a publically accessible link), unless the examination was taken at WU

• Original certificate if credit for the examination has been transferred previously

• Enrollment information sheet (Studienblatt), if the respective exam was taken at a university (no copy required)

• Marriage certificate, if you have since married and changed the name that appears on the submitted documents

Please submit your application and the required documents to the Study Service Center, service desk no. 1, either in person or by someone you have invested with power of attorney.

• Pre-recognition notice of the equivalence of examinations, in case you applied for it before your stay abroad

• Certificate(s) of the successful completion of the examination(s)

• Certificates issued by a WU partner university

• Certificates issued by other institutions: Foreign documents must be legalized according to the valid regulations. (Information on legalization and translation of documents).

• Learning Agreement stamped and signed by the partner university

• Course syllabus of the examination in question, in German or English (internet printout with a publically accessible link)

• Certification of weekly hours taken or ECTS credits earned (on the examination certificate or confirmed by the educational institution using the contact hours form or an internet printout with a publically accessible link)

• Marriage certificate, if you have since married and changed the name that appears on the submitted documents

Please send your applications for credit transfer using our form.

_{Applications will only be accepted on working days. This means that applications sent on weekends or public holidays are considered to have been submitted on the following working day and the decision period does not begin to run until this day.} 

When examinations have been recognized and no further legal remedy can be applied (right to appeal waived, appeal period expired), the examinations can no longer be deleted from the record.

Taking examinations for your WU degree program at another Austrian university or university college for teacher education is only permissible if:

• The exam is intended to replace a free elective at WU

• You have had the examination from another Austrian university or university college for teacher education approved in advance, because that particular examination is not available at WU (e.g. due to the expiration of a curriculum version)
