The Institute for Strategy, Technology andOrganisation is inviting individuals to apply for a six-year fixed-term Post-doc position (Assistant Professor - non-tenure track) starting on October 2020

The Institute for Strategy, Technology, and Organization (Prof. Lettl) is currently inviting applications for a six year fixed-term post starting on October 2020 (40h/week)

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop an international reputation in research, focusing on Technology and Innovation Management, possibly referring to Strategy and Organization

  • Publish research in relevant international Top-Journals

  • Teach courses, focusing on Innovation Management, Open Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in the Department’s Master program and the Institute’s specialized Bachelor program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation

  • Supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses and assist with exam preparation and execution

  • Contribute to the general activities of the Institute and the Department

  • Further develop the Institute in research, teaching, and outreach

Ihr Profil:

  • A completed doctoral degree in social and economic science (especially in the fields of business administration
    or business psychology)

  • A strong research orientation aligned with the Institute's research profile as well as an interest in developing research projects in the field of Technology and Innovation Management (possibly referring to Strategy and Organization)

  • Proven ability to work in teams, communicate effectively and make a significant contribution to the Institute’s research, teaching, and outreach activities

  • Strong quantitative-empirical research focus

  • Advanced knowledge and skills of empirical social research / statistical methods

  • Publications in or advanced manuscripts for relevant international Top-Journals

  • Experience in planning and teaching courses

  • Experience in supervising academic theses

  • Excellent presentation skills and experience in project management

  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
