Vienna Innovation Program 2016

14/06/2016

This May eight WU students as well as 19 international students from renown business schools like Duke University - Fuqua School of Business, University of Texas at Austin - Mc Combs School of Business, Vanderbilt University - Owen School of Management, University of North Carolina - Kenan Flagler Business School or Melbourne Business School took part in the newly evoked Vienna Innovation ProgramWU.

The program, which is organized in collaboration with the International Office of the WU, was designed and taught by Prof. Christopher Lettl. The program is based on two pillars: On the one hand, students learned about modern approaches of innovation management from a theoretical perspective. On the other hand, students engaged in problem-based learning with a real-life business project of this years’ corporate partner A1, the largest communication provider in Austria. In international teams students combined their different backgrounds and cultural perspectives on customer needs and target markets.

The Vienna Innovation ProgramWU aims to intensify the WU’s international collaborations with leading business schools from primarily North America.
