Interested in academic Research and a project based assignement? Can you see yourself assisting in a research project of one of your SBWL lecturers?

Call for 3 Research Assistant supporting research in the field of online user behavior. Assist in the research project of Alexander Staub by cleaning and coding a dataset of online community users.

Timeframe

Start End of July 2020/Beginning of August (commencement date flexible)  - 15-20h/week

End about 2-3 weeks later. The actual time spent on the project can vary between 30-40 hours (possibly also less or more), depending on how quickly you are able to go through the dataset

What are we looking for?

Autonomous, diligent and precise working style

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Excellent knowledge of English

Awareness of the importance of integrity in the scientific process (independence of data coding)

Interest in the field of online maker communities

Possibility to write B.Sc./M.Sc.  thesis using trace data on online communities (if desired – no requirement)

EUR 400.00 (contract-based; lump sum)
