Promoting and assuring quality in teaching is one of WU's key objectives. This focus on quality features in all of the processes and activities of WU's academic programs and its program management, both on the individual and the organizational levels. The teaching quality development and teaching quality assurance agendas are closely related to program management and development agendas. In order to support all members of WU's teaching staff in implementing these agendas, they have been brought together under the umbrella of the Program Management and Teaching & Learning Support unit, which reports to the Vice-Rector, Academic Programs and Student Affairs. Programmanagement and Teaching & Learning Support focuses on activities and services for teaching staff and Academic Directors, thus complementing the activities of WU's Study Services center, which provides services for students.

Program Management and Teaching & Learning Support comprises four line units: Academic Controlling, Evaluation & Quality Enhancement, Teaching Coordination, Digital Teaching Services and one staff unit, which work together closely in managing WU's program and quality agendas.
