The Exhibition Path will inform visitors about WU’s history, going all the way back to its foundation in 1898. The exhibition will also show how WU has become one of the leading business universities in the world. At a number of stations, visitors will have the opportunity to explore fascinating historical documents and information about WU’s development. The exhibition will open on Campus WU on July 3, 2023, at 6:00pm, and it will be open until October 26, 2023, free of charge.

The Exhibition Path opening will include words of welcome from WU Rector Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger and an address by Federal Minister Martin Polaschek, Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. Johannes Koll, senior scientist at the WU Institute for Economic and Social History, will offer a guided tour of the exhibition.

“125 years of WU are a true milestone. I cordially invite everyone interested to visit the exhibition. It’s an exciting journey through the history of WU, and it also highlights the continuous further development of our university,” says WU Rector Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger.
