On October 17, 2025, the WU Entrepreneurship Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary, alongside this year’s edition of its annual semester kick-off event, themed “10 Years of Innovation.” Since its inception in 2015, the center has served as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, connecting students, researchers, and alumni while strengthening the Austrian startup ecosystem. The celebration will feature insights from WU Rector Rupert Sausgruber and State Secretary Elisabeth Zehetner, as well as engaging discussions with successful alumni who will share their entrepreneurial journeys. This 10-year milestone event not only honors past achievements but also looks ahead at the years to come, when it will be more important than ever to make sure that entrepreneurial thinking plays a strong role in the university education of the future.
