Porto Sustainable Business Summer School

The Porto Sustainable Business Summer School is a three-week program organized in cooperation with the Católica Porto Business School (CPBS), which takes place in Porto, Portugal.

  • Location: Porto, Portugal

  • Duration: 3 weeks

  • Level: Bachelor’s students (advanced)

  • Program dates: July 3 - July 21, 2023

  • Scheduled travel dates: Latest arrival in Porto on July 2. Earliest departure after the official program closing.

  • Participants: Advanced bachelor's students from WU (max. 20 WU students) + advanced bachelor's and master's students from CPBS and CPBS partner universities.

  • Credits: Students will receive 8 ECTS credits and a grade certificate for successful program completion. The earned ECTS credits can be confirmed as (part of) the IBW International Experience and/or can be transferred towards your curriculum.

What I learned most was intercultural and interpersonal skills. How two different countries have completely different cultures and ways of life in everyday life - that fascinated me every day (...) I can definitely say that these 3 weeks have broadened my horizons a lot.

Aynur Temel, Participant in 2022

I can truly say that participating in the Porto Sustainable Business Summer School was one of the best decisions during my studies at WU so far, as I was not only able to acquire further knowledge on an interesting topic, but also gain international experience in an exciting country in a beautiful city, while meeting amazing new people and having a lot of fun.
