Short programs at partner universities with nomination

  • General information: Based on agreements between WU and partner universities, several short programs offer a specific number of spots specifically reserved for WU students.

  • Application information: If you would like to be considered for these short programs, you must apply via WU during the regular ISP application period for WU students. More information on the application process, including the application deadlines, can be found here. When applying for these programs, please ensure that they do not conflict with your semester and exam schedule.

  • Nomination process: If you are selected to participate in the program, you will be nominated to the partner university, which will provide further instructions for application, fee payment, course registration, and any additional requirements and information.

  • Financial aspects: Program fees or other fees may apply (for details check the respective program website). There are no WU mobility grants available for these programs.

  • Credit transfer at WU: Please make sure you are aware of the relevant requirements for transferring credits from short programs (see here for more information). Please also make sure that you know if the respective short program can be used as part of the IBW International Experience (see here for more information). For questions about credit transfer, please reach out to Study Regulations & Credit Transfer via course.abroad@wu.ac.at.

  • A list of available spots in ISPs (organized by WU and partner university programs with nomination) for winter 2026/2027 will be posted shortly.
