Enrollment period for the winter semester 2020/21: July 13, 2020 - September 29, 2020

If you have already received a confirmation of your admission, you have to come to Admissions with originals of the following documents to complete your enrollment:

  • Diploma/degree certificate of the relevant degree program

  • Final transcript (list of all courses, including grades, weekly credit hours, and/or ECTS credits or credits)

  • Valid passport

  • In case of a change of name: The official document confirming this change (e.g. marriage certificate)

  • If existing: Proof of your Austrian student ID number (student ID card, enrollment information sheet [Studienblatt], or enrollment confirmation)

  •

To complete your admission, please follow the steps indicated below:

If you’ve previously completed a WU degree program:

Please write an email to master.zulassung@wu.ac.at from your WU account or from a private email address with a copy of your ID card.

If you studied at WU at some point in the past:

Please come to the Study Service Center and present your documents at the admissions desk. Please also bring your WU student ID card.

If you’ve never studied at WU before:

Please make an appointment using the online pre-registration tool and present the required documents in the Study Service Center.

Please note: Any documents not issued in Austria may require legalization and, if issued in a language other than German or English, accompanied by a certified translation.
If you require a residence permit (visa) to study in Austria, you will need to submit an official admission notice from the university to the Austrian representative authority (embassy, consulate) in your home country. The confirmation of admission is not sufficient when applying for a residence permit. Please note that we cannot issue an official admission notice until we have inspected all of the required original documents.
