WU Master Day 2012

All About WU’s 14 Master Programs – WU Master Day

WU Master Day on April 25 is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the wide variety offered by WU's total of 14 master programs. Particular emphasis will be placed on the three new programs in Information Systems, Marketing, and Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy, all of which are taught in English and will start in the winter semester of 2012/13.

WU Master Day provides potential students with an overview of the contents and aims of WU's 14 master's programs and the opportunity to discuss questions face to face.

German-taught programs

Representatives of all of WU's MSc programs will give a public presentation of their program, starting at 10:00 a.m. with the German-taught programs in Finance and Accounting, Management, Socio-Economics, Economics, Business Education, Business Law, and Taxation and Accounting.

English-taught programs

Next on the agenda are WU's English-taught programs in International Management/CEMS, Quantitative Finance, Supply Chain Management and Strategy, Innovation and Management Control, as well as the new programs in Information Systems, Marketing, and Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy.

New programs

The brand-new Information Systems MSc aims to educate experts in implementing and utilizing the various aspects of information technology in organizations. Graduates will be able to develop and optimize organizational structures and business processes as well as the required technological systems. The Marketing MSc is designed to qualify professionals whose approach to marketing goes well beyond selling products with the help of the creative sector. WU's new Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy MSc offers a solid multidisciplinary background and the relevant skills to take a leading role in addressing the critical economic, environmental, and social problems of the 21st century.
