WU’s graduate tracking project is intended to help gather more information on graduates’ integration and performance on the labor market. The project is a cooperation between WU's Program Management and Teaching and Learning Support unit and the Statistics Austria.

Graduates’ data is linked to the labor market database (Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection). This database includes the social security data of all employees in Austria, therefore providing an abundance of relevant, highly accurate information on the Austrian labor market.

The project analyzes graduates’ data on an aggregate level for all WU graduates as well as on the individual program level. Results include the type of employment contract, major industries graduates are employed in, and income data.
