24/09/2025

The master program Quantitative Finance achieved excellent rankings in the current "QS Business Masters 2026 Rankings"

We are pleased to announce that our Master's program in Quantitative Finance has been ranked highly by the QS Master’s in Finance Rankings 2026.

Among 248 programs from 47 countries, our program ranked 22nd, maintaining its position in the top 10% worldwide. ESADE Business School and Warwick Business School have outperformed us in terms of the overall score, especially in value for money. That has caused us to drop from 20th to 22nd place. We proudly maintain the #1 ranking in the DACH region.

The University of St. Gallen, EDHEC Business School, and McGill University were among the renowned competitors that we outperformed. As a result of the strengths of our interdisciplinary curriculum, we continue to rank highly.

The QS Business Master’s Ranking is based on five metrics, and our program received outstanding scores in three key areas:

  • Thought Leadership: 90.8% highlighting our strong research output and academic reputation.

  • Employability: 82.8%, based on a survey of almost 35.000 employers and almost 40.000 academic respondents worldwide, and our graduates' employment rates.

  • Alumni Outcomes: 77.4%, recognizing the success of our graduates.

Our QFin faculty deserves a huge THANK YOU for their dedication to upholding high educational standards. We would not be able to maintain the #1 ranking in the DACH region and consistently ranked in the top 10% worldwide if it were not for your dedicated efforts and holding on to the vision we developed more than 15 years ago: a truly interdisciplinary program with top faculty in applied mathematics and financial economics.
