Sergio Messina, PhD, LL.M.
Sergio comes from Italy. He graduated in law from the Law University of Turin in 2017. In 2018 he attended and completed an LLM program in “Law and Business of International trades: customs and excise duties” at the Business University of Verona. He is currently enrolled in an advanced LLM in International Tax Law, Principles Policy and Practice, held by the University van Amsterdam in cooperation with the IBFD, in Amsterdam. In his final thesis he focuses on “Member States’ discretion in using DTTs to grant benefits which are not the result of taxing power allocation”.
