Jan Loeprick, PhD, MA, BA
Jan Loeprick successfully completed the Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT) in the economics stream. His research analysed the effectiveness of tax policy and regulatory measures in mitigating profit shifting of multinational companies, the effectiveness of presumptive tax regimes in promoting formalization, and spill-over effects of preferential tax regimes for intellectual property. Jan is currently working as a Senior Economist for the World Bank’s governance department. Previously, he worked at the Austrian Ministry of Finance in the international tax department, for the World Bank's Trade and Competiveness practice, where he was the regional coordinator for the business taxation project portfolio in ECA, and also lectured at Dresden University.
