Skill Session: A Quiet Mind

The Skill Sessions is a series of independent one-hour embodiment trainings where you can learn practical body-based exercises that help you hone human skills and abilities that support you different life and study contexts. 

ContextHow many thoughts are swirling around your head right now? Is your mind ever totally quiet? Do you wish you had more peace of mind at night before you go to sleep? Do you find your self mind-wandering when you actually want to concentrate on the learning content?"Self-talk," the inner dialogue we often have with ourselves, is another variation of noise in the head. And there is a whole lot of additional sensory input coming at you via displays that needs to be processed. How do we get back to a quiet mind?This skill session aims to offer a space where you can explore what silence means to you personally and ways to find more peace of mind.
Skills & Goals
  • Translate the interplay between silence and noise into movement and pause/rest.
  • 2-3 embodiment practices to experience more peace of mind.
  • Strengthen self-awareness of how noise expresses itself physically and emotionally on the mental plane.
