Manfred Fischer awarded RSAI Founder’s Medal

The award is the highest honor bestowed by the Regional Science Association International.

Professor Manfred Fischer has been selected to receive the 9th Founder’s Medal of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI).

The Founder’s Medal, the highest honor bestowed by RSAI in recognition of lifetime contributions to the field of Regional Science and the Association, was established in 1978 to honor its founder, Professor Walter Isard.

The Award Ceremony will take place during the opening of the ERSA Conference in Vienna on August 23, 2016.
