Claudine Mangen is visiting the Institute for Organization Studies

We are very pleased to announce that Claudine Mangen will be visiting the Institute for Organization Studies from December 16 to December 18. Claudine Mangen is the RBC Professor in Responsible Organizations at Concordia University, where she also directs the Luc Beauregard Centre of Excellence in Communications Research and is a fellow at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute. Her primary areas of research and teaching focus on corporate governance, corporate disclosures, and gender. Her research has been published in academic journals including the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Human Relations, Academy of Management Perspectives, and the European Accounting Review.

Claudine Mangen serves on the Board of Governors of Concordia University, as a member of its Finance Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations, a Montreal think tank. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Rochester (NY, US), and her Master’s Degree in Finance as well as her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne. She discusses her research, and matters pertaining to responsibility, organizations and society, on her blog www.claudinemangen.com.
